*Overage charge will be applied when you use more minutes than what is included in your audio conferencing plan. You can purchase credit for overage at a cost of $20, $50, and $100 in case you used up all your minutes within the billing cycle.
+You can start using our audio conference service by calling to one of the Packetel main access numbers or Packetel Audio Conferencing toll free-numbers when you sign up for one of the three plans. For customers who want to have a dedicated local access number assigned to them, you can purchase them at a cost of $3.95 for US local access number and $5.95 for toll free number.
How does our billing system work?
Here are some examples on how our billing system works:
Scenario 1: Plans with no dedicated local access numbers or dedicated toll-free numbers added.
Assume you sign up for the SOHO plan for our audio conferencing and decide not to have your own dedicated numbers - you will receive 50 US local access number minutes plus 150 US toll free minutes for $8.80. The total amount that you will be charged is:
$8.80 (SOHO plan base price)
Scenario 2: Plans with dedicated local access numbers added.
Assume you sign up for the SOHO plan and also added you own dedicated local access number, you will receive 50 US local access number plus 150 US toll-free minutes for $8.80. On top of that, you will need to pay an additional $3.95 for the dedicated US local access number. As a result, the total amount you will be charged is:
$8.80 (SOHO plan base price) + $3.95 (dedicated US local access number) = $12.75.
Scenario 3: Plans with both dedicated local and toll-free numbers added.
Assume you sign up for the SOHO plan and add both a dedicated local access number AND a dedicated toll-free number - you will receive 50 US local access number plus 150 US toll-free minutes for $8.80. On top of that, you will need to pay an additional $3.95 and $5.95 for the US local access number and US toll-free number, respectively. As a result, the total amount you will be charged is:
$8.80 (SOHO plan base price) + $3.95 (dedicated US local access number) + $5.95 (dedicated toll-free numbers) = $18.70.
Scenario 4: Plans with overage charge applied.
Assume you sign up for the SOHO without adding any dedicated numbers, and you purchase a pre-paid option for $5. Once you have used up all the available minutes in the plan (within the current billing cycle), a 1.7¢ / minute charge (for US local access number) or 8¢ / minute charge (for US toll-free number), depending with number you are calling from, will be deducted from you prepaid amount until this amount is either depleted, or until the next billing cycle begins. In this case, the total amount you will be charged is:
$8.80 (SOHO plan base price) + $5 (Prepaid amount) = $13.80.
